Updated: Nov 27, 2023

Dreams to Dollars

Welcome to the Boss Lady's corner, where entrepreneurial dreams come to life. Why heed the insights of this fellow Mompreneur? Because my journey, from childhood dreams of entrepreneurship to owning multiple different types of businesses, was no leisurely walk in the park. It resembled a thrilling rollercoaster ride with its exhilarating twists and daunting turns. From learning the hard way to navigating a minefield of mistakes, I'm here to help you steer clear of the costly pitfalls.

As a little girl, Barbie dolls took a back seat to my peculiar obsession with personalized invoices and receipts for my imaginary businesses. It's not just a quirk; it's in my DNA. Can you relate? I've always been captivated by the idea of creating something uniquely mine and crafting multiple streams of income under my control. Conforming to the 9-to-5 grind wasn't my forte; instead, I spent my twenties as a diligent apprentice, soaking in wisdom from entrepreneurs I worked for.

Fast forward to my thirties, I embarked on a journey of starting two businesses, all while juggling the demands of 3 young children. Six years down the line, I sold one, and after eleven years, the other found a new owner and I am now on to 3 new ventures. So, why do I share this personal narrative? To spare you the anguish of my past missteps, regrets, and the squandering of both time and money. My aim is to help you carve out your path to entrepreneurship, learning from my journey without stumbling over the same rocks.
